Right - when the time comes, book whatever is best for your schedule. And we may very well end up with more than one party flight :) There's also no rush to ticket if you're on a paid itin...rather for those of us using *A awards with limited availability on some segments...

SQ147 is the last flight on Sunday. Yes, it will give more time for SIN-based DOers to spend time in Bali. And for some of us from the US, Monday is Memorial Day holiday. Thus, leave last flight Sunday night, and take an a.m. flight back to the US Monday, and we will make it to work Tuesday. Sunday night in Singapore can be spent for another hawker food festival. :D Then sleep all the way back to the US.

I checked the fares from the new SQ website... HKG-SIN-DPS-SIN-HKG is about 19678 in F (only HKG-SIN-HKG portion of course). At least you will be in a SkySuite by taking SQ143 connect to SQ2 (which has FULL dinner service. ^ )

CGK can never think of not sleeping in the SkykSuite for any of his SQ flights can he? :D Maybe we can write a letter to SQ to put the 744 on the YVR flights to end your suffering of having to reroute via LAX. :D :p Cross your fingers what you see on this photo will once again become a reality.

I am pretty sure your wish of 744 serving YVR will not happen. ;) But, I am praying that SQ would allow B777-300ER to serve YVR with the new F, C, and Y seats soon .... :D

I'm wishing more on your behalf. :D Let's also pray that the Canadian government will grant SQ more access to the market.

Any progress with the O-class searching?

Ohoh.....i heard that SQ will only get the B773ER from September 2006.......

I have O Class for the long segments (LAX/NRT) and I Class for NRT/SIN. I have not had time to check again with UA award department in the last week to see if there is any more inventory of O class. For now I have confirmed reservation though, subject to my own schedule which is difficult to nail down this far out.

Then that means I may get to fly with CGK a few more times transpac :)

So that's where he's been all along! :D

Wait, maybe I have things mixed up here. But CGK is the one who usually flies around the globe in the opposite direction to get to his destination. And wait, I do know this is FT. But really. I mean didn't he just fly to JFK in order to get to LAX for that flight with you CaWhite to SIN? Am I right? The last thing he needs is a flight right from his home airport! :D :D :D Heck, that would not be enough sectors!
