CGK,
how about a turnaround on August 7 SIN-CGK-SIN on SQ 158 and SQ 159 B772, so we can sleep until a decent time in the morning and have 90 minutes for the SKL pre flight.
SQ 156/7 B773?? also acceptable. Do they all (772 and 773) have F class ?
Still have severe ticketing problems, hope to sort them out.

I was thinking for immediately after the DO. Never done a turn-around at CMB, thus, another FTer does the same one at the same time would be great. The itinerary look like this:
7AUG SQ468 SIN-22:40 CMB-00:15
8AUG SQ469 CMB-01:35 SIN-07:45
8AUG SQ12 SIN-09:45 LAX-12:50
I suppose I can do it a day later as well.
What do you think, Raz?
I am still not committed yet. Will see when I will do RV-ing accross the US. Right now I am booked both ways SFO-BKK-SFO on UA. But, I've been thinking out loud, will I "survive" both ways on UA? May be one way, and reschedule the other BKK-SFO flight to later date.

From years back experience, no internet for us for almost the whole trip, not even cell phone connection. I remembered camping out in the middle of Death Valley. No signal bar at all on our cell.
And the term BAIL out is being negotiated here.
But most probably I will loose the battle and have to be out from FT for a month

I love Death Valley, Mt Zion National Park, Grand Canyon, and all those dessert views in Utah. But from there to the East Coast or Florida, it's dreadful. My other objection was the weather. I don't like to be in the hot weather, and summer can be very hot in the US. I would rather be cool off here at my dig north of vancouver.

The Utah Parks are the greatest of them all. Zion, Brice Canyon, etc.
Brice Canyon is my absolute favourite.
Grand Canyon and Monument Valley are gorgeous as well, as is the Oak Creek Canyon near Sedona. I just love the red rocks in pure nature...
Of course CGK is spoiled, living in beautiful BC. Vancouver is great, Alberta and the Icefield Parkway is even better for nature/outdoor/photography/golf/hiking lovers. Wish I could live there and not in this dirty, urban, expensive central European area.
