Hunki had a great Birthday Dinner, concert, party with lots of friends, including a surprise guest from Switzerland--Rudi! 
This morning after church Hunki, Rudi, and Peregrine took off to go skiing. I am resting.

I always enjoy attending birthdays of men so much older than I am ... it gives me still more perspectivs for my own future ...
thank you for inviting me Punki and thank you Joe for guiding me safely through fog and deep snow while skiing scary downhill runs at Alpental (the summit, one hour from Seattle).
Unfortunately I can't travel now anymore for a long time, I am broke, as I left my credit card at Punki's/Hunki's home and I know how Punki loves to shop at Nordstrom ...

Lucky for you, Rudi, I am still home, sick in bed. I was planning to get better and spend all Saturday at Nordstrom shopping on your card, but I learned today that Hunki has already sent it back to you.

Thank you for all the best wishes. It was quite a weekend, and I'm still recovering from all the excitement, big surprise of seeing Rudi, and skiing with him on Sunday.
He was so kind to leave me his credit card so that I could buy a new pair of skis without letting Punki see it on my credit card statement. Since she was sick, she couldn't use it at Nordstom's, so I sent it back to Rudi so that he wouldn't have to explain all of the charges to Gisela.
I can hardly wait until next year.
