Did someone mention FREE DRINKS????

I will hop on the next plane, and come along.

That will be United #840, arriving 10.40am Monday. Darn.

I can guarantee anyone spending an hour or 2 with Steve will learn more tips, tricks and lurks about hotels, airlines and the like, than you have learnt in the past year. He is the #1 dealmeister on FT.

Have a Modela Negro for me folks. ^

Just one personal suggestion if I may.

The Four Points LAX last time I was there had this amazing Belgium Beer Bar inside.

100s of Belgium/Benelux type beers on hand. Brewed by monks and stuff, and with alcohol as high as about 12%. Huge sheet listing them all out and who made them, and how old they were (some were aged for years)

Real fun way to spend a few hours, and not really pricey at all IIRC. And they had bar food and stuff I am sure.

Now for anyone raised on Coors Light or Bud, and other disgusting low alcohol sodas, a dangerous place to go near, but for anyone who remembers what REAL beer tastes like .......... ^

I'm a maybe...

beaubo, have a friend arriving this aft for a few daysso not sure I can make it. Will ask him if he wants to meander over to LAX area, but can't promise. Have your cell # programmed into mine, so will call you if he is up for it. Otherwise, next time. Cheers. Sharon
