I met Freddie Jr in CVG. Didn't think to weigh him, but he isn't very heavy. I believe his amazing collection of tags weighs more than he does. He's actually a bit top-heavy & falls over easily (or else he wasn't drinking Orange Juice at brunch ;)).

OT: This question may be more appropriate for HOM, but would it be possible to give Freddie a tag-attachment point on the left side to improve his balance as the collection grows? (In other words, could someone drill another hole in Freddie?)

I met him in CVG at the same time as scoow and I didn't weigh him either.

But I'm guessing him at no more than 3#'s or so, tags and all.

BTW, if Freddie Jr. gets hung up in a particular city with no apparent way out, I'm more than happy to FedEx him to the next FT'er.

Pls PM me if you're holding Freddie Jr. and wish to send him on his merry way to the next DO.

If people don't mind him sitting idle until the SFO DO in Sept., MikeMpls can pick him up from aviationkiwi sometime in the coming months and pass him along to me, at which point I can take him to the SFO DO, return to MSP, and send him off to ZRH with MikeMpls for that DO. I could even conceivably pick him up again and take him to CO DO III the following weekend.

Nooooooo! Not the evil FedEx! :td:

Ok Great. MikeMpls can pick Freddie Jr. anytime he wants. You can PM me.

so .. can we get Freddie to Europe?

Stuttgart, Zurich, Frankfurt ... there are some events this fall :)

Would be good to see Freddie Jr. in Europe again. As aviationkiwi is a confirmed attendee of the Yodeldee-Do, that would be an opportunity for him to pass the little man on to somebody else.

I could get Freddie to Sana'a and Abu Dhabi sometime from September to December. Any chance to get Freddie into MUC before?

Yes, definitely. Freddie is currently scheduled to be at the Zurich DO from September 21st to 23rd. We have several MUC-based FTers coming, so perhaps we can ask one of them to give Freddie a ride over. When exactly are your trips to Yemen and Abu Dhabi?

Alex, is there any chance of you bringing Freddie with you to the PBI-FLL Meet?

Yes, I'd say there's definitely a chance. Depends what else ends up on his schedule, but I'll be glad to take him to Boca if I can.

Great! It will be wonderful to see him again. (I hope he still has his "Keep Delta My Delta" button. The man behind that campaign will be at the meet.)

If ALEX can't manage to bring Freddie, I certainly can.:)

Oh, it's not a question of whether I'll be able to - it's a question of whether someone else might want to take him elsewhere first. ;)

Though if you want to carry him across the pond, you're welcome. That would allow Freddie to escape the horrors of Iberia Economy...

BTW, has Freddie ever been to Madrid? If not, that would at least be a first for him.

Last time I saw him (in Edinburgh), he was no longer actively wearing the button, but it was in the bag along with a few tags that had been taken off so that he wasn't quite as prone to falling over. We'll make sure to rectify that before the PBI-FLL meet begins.

Was Freddie falling over in Edinburgh because of the tags or because he had indulged in too much Scotch? :D
