With the Freddie awards coming up in April I thought it might be a good time to track down Freddie Jr since he usually makes an appearance (when invited :) ) I did a search and couldn't find the original Where is Freddie Jr thread so I thought I would start a new one.

So, where is Freddie Jr. ???


Can we make this thread a sticky so we can better keep track of his travels and adventures?

I saw him in the cockpit of a 747 ORD-HKG in January and then at the SIN-Do. Not sure where his travels took him from there :)

Just spoke with him, he says hello and remembers you fondly GoingAway.

He has been hanging out in Chicago at the Green Mill and the Jazz Showcase ( http://www.worldsbestbars.com/city/c...ge-chicago.htm & http://www.jazzshowcase.com ) :cool:

He has done a lot of traveling lately VCE, TLV, CAI, KUL and SIN.

Is going to do some snowmobiling next weekend in St Germain Wisconsin. Then going to the Shanghai Do.

Someone mapped his travels on one of those Great Circle mapping type deals.

That kid sure gets around. Been down here 3 times that I can remember. :)

Well if you search the archive REALLY carefully - somewhere in there is a photo of geo1004/5 and the highly regarded kokonutz having drinks with none other than Freddie Jr. AND the elusive arturo!!! :D

You wriggled out on lunch 2 weeks back with your usual lame predictable excuse ("working") when you knew 'geo someone' was coming, as the 2 of you in the same room might dispel some myths. However I still think you are just kokonutz wearing a bad wig. :p

Maybe Tazi is a man. I mean, how can any normal woman resist coming to a FT lunch with so many handsome men present? :p

Who has Freddie?
 

Sweet Willie, is Freddie Jr still on the road with you? The Fiji runners are asking for him.

We were just asking about that at lunch today, as there's also been discussion of him getting the opportunity to travel to Nairobi. Last anyone had heard was that he went to the CO Do in Houston.

I think he should DO a bunch of back-to-back FIJI runs - since he'll be able to rack up a lot of FF miles 4free.

He should join a group of us in UA F on the way to the Oz-fest in May.

Second that.

There must be about 10 folks flying in from USA now for OzFest, from Seattle and SFO, to BOS/NYC/IAD and several cities in between, so hope Freddie's collection before end May can be arranged among you guys. ;)

He is quite a regular visitor "Down Under". :)

I sure hope Freddie doesn't meet with any unforseen problems in Brooklyn.
He may like Brooklyn so much that he'll stay through the end of May. :p

Staying to the end of May is not going to happen. On Monday, I've got to Fedex him to radiocycle so that he can go to Italy on Tuesday.

So Freddie can then after Italy be handed off to one of the many USA based OZ Festers for latter May?

The saga continues
 

It appears that Alysia made one of the cardinal mistakes that can be made by any FTer, which was to entrust the safekeeping of Freddie Jr. to wahooflyer. It is well known and documented that wahooflyer, one of the most delightful FTers we know, would lose track of his head were it not firmly attached to his shoulders. He has been known to leave travel documents on a bar table in Venice and his coat in the last hotel room he has visited on any given evening.
And dear Alysia gave Freddie Jr. to wahooflyer. Just gave it to him with instructions to bring it with him on Dan's Brooklyn Tour. And did he do so? Of course not. wahooflyer, in his enthusiasm to show him to us, left Freddie Jr on our diningroom table instead of bringing it with him for Dan's tour, which means that Freddie Jr will not visit Brooklyn with Dan until next year at the earliest.
Guess who now has the responsibility of Fedexing Freddie Jr to radiocycle? Actually I will do that gladly so that he can get to Florence. In Florence, one scenario that could work would be that radiocycle hand him off to dedehans whom I can meet in South Florida to get Freddie Jr from her in order to bring him to Oz. I am sure that there will be other suggestions but, in the moment, all may be assured that he is in good hands.

I apologize for my forgetfulness. :)

As I have a car in the city this weekend, I offered to drive Freddie around Brooklyn today, stopping in front of dhammer53's boyhood home, but it just wouldn't be the same. :) Plus, I might lose him again anyway. :D

Freddie Jr., have a safe trip to Florence!

Freddie Jr. was last seen in Manhattan at Le Bonne Soupe, having his picture taken with a group of soup-slurping Flyertalkers........

After hanging out in Columbus, Ohio for a few weeks, Freddie Jr made it out to California where he went wine tasting in Napa with radiocycle, techgirl, and alysia last Wednesday. techgirl, alysia, and Freddie Jr then met up that night with msy-msp, spaceman, and kathywdrf on a United SFO-SYD flight to go to Ozfest #2. After arriving in Sydney, Freddie Jr enjoyed hanging out in a suite overlooking the harbor on the 12th floor of the Four Points. Freddie Jr made it to the events of Ozfest #2 -- the dinner on Friday night (but Freddie Jr was incredibly tired that night from the long trip and was falling asleep at dinner), the lunch and tarmac tour on Saturday (as well as getting thrown out of the Qantas club), and then the mountains & Zig Zag Railroad on Sunday. Unfortunately, Freddie Jr was not able to go on the Harbor Bridge Climb as the tour company had no jumpsuits suitable for Freddie Jr to wear.

Freddie Jr is heading to Dallas next to attend one of their happy hours under the care of techgirl.

Hehehe... alone with Freddie at last. ;)

I will make sure he makes an appearance in Dallas and I'm going to talk to beaubo about how he might be able to make an appearance in our video application for The Amazing Race. For now, Freddie will be drinking champagne with me today at various *A lounges in SYD and then passing ou... er, sleeping in a UA First Suite to SFO.

Correction, Alysia was falling asleep at dinner Friday and left her date Freddie behind!

I added him to the official attendee list, with the note: "Freddie did not eat or drink much". ;)

At least three people who have posted on this thread will be at Tel Aviv Meet, so hopefully one of you can bring Freddie with you and the rest of us can get to meet him.

I doubt anyone will let me hang onto Freddie for five months unless I start attending a lot more FT DOs than I do at present. ;)

Today Freddie will be co-starring in a video that will soon be headed to network execs. :D

Freddie has enjoyed his summer in Dallas... he appeared in a video application for a network television show, caught a good nap, and enjoyed a weekend in New Orleans with a handful of folks in July.

Tomorrow he will travel DFW-LAX-JFK-EZE and after he tastes wine and eats steak in EZE, I will find someone who can help him make his way to another FT event.

Send Freddie Jr. to ORD. My son wants to play with him for awhile.

I've actually had a couple of PM requests - if we can get someone in EZE to get him to the DO in BCN, then we have a confirmed carrier onward to TLV.
