While Jet2K, Freddie Jr, and I were having our pictures taken with Randy, he asked if he could have him for a bit as he wanted to make him part of the show. He introduced Freddie Jr, gave a brief history, and explained how he travels around with FlyerTalkers having more BIS miles than the most frequent of travelers. Randy was quite impressed with the TLS DO name tag he was wearing. ;)

Freddie is currently in Scotland, having just enjoyed himself with Sheep again at the EDI Do. He's heading back to New York in SeeYa's care for the Brooklyn Reality Tour - doesn't that kind of coincide with Oz fest? If not, check out if anyone from that is oz-festing and whether they could get him back to the US for the CVG and or DL lounge do (both requested above!).

But Freddie Jr can come to Oz Fest 5 next year.:)

I hate to suggest it, but I know that Freddie Jr. has experienced the joys of FedEx from time to time... :eek:

Edit: But wait a second - aren't Tommy777 and iluv2fly based in Chicago? Perhaps one of them might be willing to carry Freddie to ORD and pass him on to upup&away, who I know has been kind enough to give Freddie a ride on previous occasions. That would get the little guy to Oz, but how will we get him back to CVG?

Edit2: Where is Fairfax, VA? If that's reasonably close to DC, might it be possible for chrisw and Waterstrider to carry Freddie back to the US in order to pass him to Alysia, who will be at the CVG event.

Now, how do we go about asking the relevant parties for their consent? Any volunteers?

Freddie, Jr. has occasionally had to endure horrors Y but cargo would be an extreme insult :) If he does get shipped by FedEx I suggest a very high insured value. Anyone that looses him will have hell to pay and had better move to Siberia.

I would be happy to bring Freddie Jr. from ORD to Oz fest,
however, there is a slight problem in that I leave for Oz
already on May 17, while Freddie Jr. is still only getting
ready for the BRT.

If anyone can think of another way to get Freddie to MEL,
we can certainly ride back to ORD together on May 28.

Freddie is recovering in NYC from the upset of traveling back from EDI in Lufty Y :eek: :eek: at this moment. He'll be joining the BRT this upcoming weekend, and hopes someone there (Alysia?) will be kind enough to give him a ride further on.

You got that right. You may be in big trouble for just kidding about him getting lost. And that's no joke.

Has anyone spoken with Alysia? I'll be happy to do it.

If she can't take him, and I can't see why she couldn't, I mentioned to dhammer that maybe he could FedEx it to Fla. and I'd have him ride shotgun with me in my car to CVG.
