If so, I'm jealous, but thankful Freddie Jr. is young enough to get away with living in one, and also thankful fireworksboy isn't carrying it to and from work. ("He seemed like such a nice chap, until he started bringing sandwiches and oreos in that odd case.")

Due to some flight cancellations, Freddie Jr. logged a few more miles and segments than planned.

His revised itinerary today, all on Southwest 737's, is as follows:

FLL/TPA/STL/PHX/ONT

Freddie Jr., who loves to fly, was elated by the additional airtime and reacted as follows:

But all's well that ends well and Freddie Jr. is safe and sound in Southern California tonight and sleeping off his big adventure.

Canarsie took the handoff picture but he's on a 30K MR as I write this and I'm not sure when we'll see the pic's.

And we didn't get bumped, we got "re-routed".

And we didn't get any $$'s as we were on award tickets.

And I don't think WN even cared that we visited every commercial airport from FLL to ONT. :(

But Freddie Jr. racked up a gazillion more miles so that's the important thing.

Freddie Jr. arrived in France and is preparing for his first A380 ride :)

but there's something new:

he has a usb-flash-drive with some Freddie Jr. photos attached... whenever you see him you can download or add photos on your computer and so his personal photoalbum grows constantly ... thanks to my fellow co-mods for inspiring me to add this new feature :)

so ... if you have some photos to share and you meet Freddie Jr - you know what to do :cool:

Freddie Jr. should go to the SIN Run DO 2008.

I can take him with me after the Frankfurt DO and can bring him to the SIN DO. He can travel with me also to GIG (NYE party with some FTs there) and then to the SIN DO.

sounds like a plan to me. I'd like to have him in Reims in April and then there are the Freddies in Phoenix in late april as well. :)

I can probably take Freddie onwards from SIN. I should know in the next few days whether or not I'll make it down there and will let you know.

From SIN, I'll go to Thailand for a few days and then back to Europe for the Malta DO in early February. In Malta I can pass Freddie on to one of the London-based FTers - there are several people from the London area headed for Reims. Alternatively, I could take Freddie back to Germany with me and meet Chris in SXB for the next handover (if the FTers there manage to schedule a dinner which I can actually attend... ;)).

EDIT: And when was the location for the Freddies announced? I must have missed that!

Oz Fest 5
 

Freddie Jnr is down as interested in Oz Fest 5 to be held May 23-25. FJ attended Oz Fest #2 and Oz Fest #4 (and maybe other Oz Fests)

Since the Freddies are a fixed point on Junior's itinerary (he hasn't missed one yet), that would be the point from which we need to organise transport. I would post something to that effect in the OzFest thread - since you do have US-based members coming, it should be possible to work something out.

There may be a missing link somewhere between them and PHX, but that should be something we can sort out once we know who wants to give Junior a ride Down Under.

What kind of duds is Freddie wearing these days? Last time I saw him, he had a brand new AA "coat."

He's still got the AA coat, but has also picked up a swanky carrying case with Zebra stripes. I'm sure somebody has a picture. Or perhaps chrissxb can take a picture and post it? ;)

Freddie JR. will spend christmas with alex0683de and should be in Singapore in January. I added some sticker to the zebra bag - feel free to add more ;)

and there are Freddie JR photos on the usb flash drive (in the case) download them if you like and add your own photos :)

Freddie Jr. is currently "Skipping Christmas" and relaxing in the warm and sunny Canary Islands - Tenerife to be exact. Though Freddie was not impressed with the flight down - service was pretty good, but it was a charter flight, and the other passengers broke out in a thunderous round of applause after landing. :rolleyes:

He has also now had the pleasure of flying from ZQW (Zweibruecken airport), a recently converted Royal Canadian Air Force base in southwestern which now handles roughly 100.000 passengers in a good year, so it should remain a bit of a rarity for a while yet.

After heading back to Germany with me, his next stop will be Singapore. After that, I am still looking for volunteers to take him onward. Otherwise, I'll take him back to Europe to the Malta DO, and hope to find a volunteer to give him a ride from there to whereever his attendance is requested.

Freddie Jr. is currently on my RTW and will visit nice places like KUL, BKK, NRT, CHC, IVC, WLG, AKL, APW, TBU, LAX, LHR and finaly MUC.

I will bring him also to the strawberry DO (TPA) and he will travel meantime on my business trips (FRA, WAW, DXB, BKK...) until the Reims Champagne DO with me.

and from Champagne DO we need to get him to the Freddies :)

I'm still a bit iffy on attending the Freddies but I'll know for sure by the time I get to the Champagne DO.

And I'll be happy to take Freddie to the Freddies if I attend. We'll just have to find someone to take him from there.

Freddie got from berlinflyer a nice tag from TPA International airport and from me a nice tag from the strawberry festival.

Freddie will be in NYC on March29th and then travel with me to Reims. anyone wants to take him from there to the Freddies? Phoenix people? moderators?

I thought, Freddie will travel on our whole LH Y expirment and I will bring him to Reims. But if you like to have him earlier, no problem !!

Any chance we could snag Freddie Jr. for a weekend hop to Hawaii and back for the Coast-to-Island DO on May 16?

I'm not personally going to be at the Freddies, but if anyone from LAX or SFO is going, and would be willing to take him home from the Freddies and then come to the airport on the 16th to make an airport handoff, I'll be passing through both airports with plenty of time in my connections to come outside of security.

I will be visiting SFO, IAD, LGA, and BWI on my way home, so I can hand him back off at any of those points, or send him home with any of the other dozen or so DO attendees.
