What is the most countries in which you have partied with the same FlyerTalker?

While we were in VCE last week, Jerrie, who is a non-posting FlyerTalker, and I realized that it was the fifth country in which we had partied this calendar year--Hong Kong, USA, Switzerland, Germany and Italy.

That got me thinking. I realized that have also partied with her husband, Magic111, in five countries--Spain, Hong Kong, USA, Switzerland, and German.

If we can count NRT, then mjm also hits the five mark for me--Hong Kong, Japan, Germany, USA and France.

The largest count, however, for us is Rudi and Ozstamps, tied for the most--seven countries--USA, Canada, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, France and Lichtenstein.

I also think it is interesting that I have only known monitor and Frannie for less than six months and have already been to parties with them in three countries--Germany, USA and Italy. Crazy FlyerTalkers.

What is the most countries in which you have partied with a FlyerTalker--partners don't count.

Punki,

Heck yes I count that and those five meetings with you two are my highest tally to date. Hey we had beer together right? Love it!

I'll have had the pleasure of semi-critical mass brain cell destruction with AlanW in 3 countries after LONdon Do in February; due to aforementioned brain cell deficiency, I can't remember how many I've partied with in two countries this year. Not nearly as impressive as 5 in a year, however...

Well I am not going to omit the delightful and gorgeous Gisela who I think along with Rudi I've met in EIGHT countries, seeing you and Hunki cancelled your OZ visit.

Hope to catch you two up again in Seattle next week. ^

I've met with FlyerTalkers in 6 Continents actually.

I was miffed I could not locate one in Antarctica - but the guy with the streaked hair DOES look kinda familar :.

Well Punki and Hunki--I have "partied" with you in Spain, USA (Hawaii and Arizona--US must count for more than one country, it is sooooooo big, like Canada), Canada (Montreal and Vancouver), Germany.

magic111 has been on several escapades but I can't always remember who was where (the alt makes my thinking absolutely fuzzy!)--he must have been at four. I think I can remember Spain, Germany, USA, Canada.

Most times has to be with Rudi -- we have "partied" in France, Switzerland, Germany, USA (Hawaii), Canada.

Great memories and fun trips. Love to do more partying. Got sidetracked by China (although I did party with Warren in Beijing!) and Inner Mongolia last couple of years but I (and sometimes Terry) will be back in the game you can be sure.

And even though I have only partied in a few places in USA and Canada with others, they have been great times too (Toronto, Arizona, New York, Carolinas).

And who can forget the great Mexican Hat Dance/Blue Man Group escapades involving AnnaS, auh2o and the infamous Ken hAAmer.

Hmmmmmmm. Let me think about the lovery Gisela for a moment. We have been together in the USA, France, Switzerland, Germany, Lichtenstein, Austria (albeit briefly) so that makes six. I keep trying to make Hawaii another country in my mind--well it actually was when I was a young girl, as was Alaska.

I think Ozstamps that you and Rudi have probably only had 7 countries together as I don't believe you two were simultaneously in Canada, but, of course, I could be wrong.

Yes, mjm we had beer and that makes a party.

Hey, BlondBomber, (and anybody else who is interested) there will be a Party in Tel Aviv next November, with a great group of FlyerTalkers. Put it on your calendar.

Did I hear something about Gaucho putting together a party in Buenos Aries?

We can crank up this country count.

Hmmm. English people regard 'party' to be a noun not a verb. So none then.

Had lots of drinks with People though.. they know who they are

Party is a tricky word than can work as a noun, verb or even adjective. I think "partied" is always a verb.

OK, GK, so what is the most countries in which you have "met" with the same FlyerTalker--again partners and kids, and I guess parents, don't count.

I am a neophyte. I have only been to Meets in three countries -- US, Italy, and Israel -- and the Israeli Meet was actually a "mini-meet" (four of us met for lunch).

Of those three, I met the same people only in the US and Italy.

Hopefully, I will be able to increase that total in the next year with either the Munich Meet or the Dusseldorf Jazz Meet and the Tel Aviv Meet which is now being discussed.

With all due respect, I believe a meeting between the two of us would have been quite appropriate last Sunday night at Invesco Field. However, your #*!@*%# Raiders squeaked one out (or rather the Broncos did not want to win). None the less, I would have enjoyed meeting you there.

I believe there was a thread running about the most countries that FTers had met (someone else can have the pleasure of doing the search.)

Jerrie has partied with Mr GK (both non-posting FTers) in five countries - France, Germany, USA, Hong Kong and the UK. In a couple of months this will become 6 with the addition of China.

magic111 has been on several escapades but I can't always remember who was where (the alt makes my thinking absolutely fuzzy!)--he must have been at four. I think I can remember Spain, Germany, USA, Canada.
Did not know you had imported alt to Canada. I was not there. @:-)

I think mine would have to be SanDiego1K . We have partied together in the USA ( multiple places), Canada, France, The UK, Turkey, SIN , NRT and HKG.

Wow - that makes 8 -- there are actually a quite a number of FT'ers I have been in 7 countries partying with

You sure are the party animal! I think SanDiego1K also has my highest total, but it's "only" four. Those four include three of your countries, and at least two occasions when you were there as well, but you weren't in Chile!
