For me, it's a tie between my buddies airoli and Jailer with 8 countries each. However, airoli has a bit of an edge since I have met him in 3 continents versus only 2 for Jailer
airoli: USA, Canada, Czech Republic, Hong Kong, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, and the UK
Jailer: USA, Aruba, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Panama, Peru, and Venezuela

Mark, I am overly competitive, so we need to do another trip so that I can surge past that no-account airoli.
But, Im thinking that Cousin Craig6z has the FT edge (15, including the U.S., and not counting transit only): India, Nepal, Thailand, England, Turkey, Kenya, Belgium, USA, Belize, Mexico, Italy (2x), Russia, Estonia, Finland, and Canada. Craig will correct me if I've missed any.
Its a little worrying that Craigs country number ties travel with my wife: (15: Canada, U.S., Mexico, China, Scotland, England (5x), Italy (2x), Yugoslavia, Netherlands, France, Ireland, China, pre-transfer Hong Kong, Australia, and Costa Rica).
I suspect that my wife and I have an unwritten agreement not to let Craig get ahead of our total.
BTW, I once figured and posted that, including transit, the numbers were about 20 each for wife and for cuz.

RD,
Sounds like a plan. As a compensation for your frustration, first two rounds of bevvies are on me. Have to admit that was a sweet one to notch in the W column. Of all the games to win.....
Hey splitting the series is not too unfair though.
Mike
Catch you around the globe somewhere soon I hope,
Mike

And are you not coming to China

Not to sidetrack this too much but Punki did say
"with the same FlyerTalker?"
Well my name may be the same but FT has changed me forever. It has enriched my life in many ways through the people I have met. I am a changed man--I think for the better . . .

The most countries would have to be with kokonutz, JSD and IO12069: 3 = (AMS, LHR, USA), and if they wouldn't have "pulled a geo" on DUS it would have been 4
. Also 3 with with auh2o and wingless = (LHR, DUS, USA)
Technically I have been to more countries with one other FTer but they shall remain nameless....
