Ken, I didn't realize you'd changed your opinion on SSM!

Glad you received a gift that was meaningful to you.

My SS Gift arrive today. Thank you! I have never heard of Jamie Cullum, but I look forward to seeing and hearing the DVD you sent. I'll enjoy the Nora Jones one that was included too. ^

My SS gift just arrived and I'm absolutely thrilled with it. A book of Spanish and English grammar which I absolutely need since I eventually want to buy a property in Spain.
And then a wonderful story written by Derek Lambert about his family's move to Spain... restoring a home and learning to live the life of Spanish Villagers.
I'm not sure I can resist the urge to neglect Christmas preparations and start reading... and studying.
Muchicimas gracias, Santa.

Believe it or not, I had the "s" first, and changed it to "c".
Interestingly when I was in Spain a year ago I asked for "um vaso de cava" and the Spaniard said that "vaso" was Mexican, not Spanish.
But don't worry, I'll never get the lisping down properly, since I learned Mexican Spanish first.

I apologize, let's try to keep this thread on topic
We can always open a thread in OMNI asking what language you speak.
I hope my gift gets there on time, it should get there either today or tomorrow

Got home yesterday and found a small little package waiting for me. Opened it up to find my SS gift. I absoulutely loved the gift. A scale model of an old Northwest Plane, L1042. I collect airplane models, and this is an absolute treat for my collection. Thank you SS.

Thank you, SS! I finally picked up my gift from the courier firm today. (They just left me a note on a random piece of paper, I almost threw it out along with the rest of the Christmas junk mail...)
It's very thoughtful and will be well used. I didn't know they come in felt...!
Much better than plastic/rubber...

Many thanks to my anonymous SS for the lovely silver star necklace, which will get a lot of use. It arrived without any sort of card or indication that it was from my SS, so I had to verify with WHarvey that it was from you, and not from one of my many other secret admirers!
