Just wanted to bump this and make a list so we can perhaps pick a spot to eat. So far I see:
Dinner Buddies:
wahooflyer
bhatnasx
Gator Gal
Better show unless he's really coming to the Choco-do:
DL Newbie
Forgiven because I'll see her the next day:
GoingAway
In trouble:
MileageAddict
Anyone else? Bueller? Bueller? Anyone?
I'm staying near the airport, but I'm happy to meet people wherever is best for most. Let me know and I'm looking forward to meeting everyone!

I should be able to make it on the 14th - which airport? DCA or IAD? If at DCA, there are several nice places at Pentagon Row, right near Pentagon City. I'm not too familiar with dining options near IAD.

Hello! Well, I think I can still make it, but that's if this event will run late... it seems I have "double-booked!" I agreed to participate with a couple of friends in the "Light the Night" fundraising walk for the Leukemia-Lymphoma Society that evening (this is the event with the lighted balloons). I thought this was for LAST Thursday but then realized the date. Depending on how long this runs and when/where you're meeting, I might be able to at least stop by and say hello. Sorry for the mix-up!

Here's what available at Pentagon Row, near DCA - http://www.pentagonrow.com/dining.html
All these places will be relatively packed on a Thursday night, I would imagine - I think Sine's & Chammp's are the two restauarant/bar type places. We also did a happy hour with just drinks at the Doubletree with the revolving rooftop restaurant once. It was a decent place, though not spectacular.

Hi, all! Boyaremyarmstired, I hear that our walk starts at 7:30 and it's only 2-3 miles, so I should be free before 8:30... of course, I then have to take the metro to where I park my car in Arlington (I have a strange commute but it's the fastest/cheapest solution) so I could still meet you all around 9 to at least say hello for a few minutes. If you're meeting somewhere in Pentagon Row, as bhatnask suggests, that'd be especially easy since it's about 5 minutes from where I go. He's got my cell phone # so you all can give me a call.
Remember, though, that I'll be coming straight from a charity walk so I hope you're meeting at a casual place as I will NOT be "dressed to impress" by any means!

So last night Samir calls...
... and asks what event I was talking about for "tonight" (meaning last night) since I had emailed him telling him to call me for a final meeting point. Except, of course, that there was NO event last night since we're talking about NEXT Thursday, Oct. 14. I'm so far ahead of myself, I'm already in mid-October!
This means that I'm free to meet up with you all at *whatever* time you decide on next Thursday, since my charity walk was last night, OCT. 7, and not the 14th. So big "duh" on me!

I'm open to ideas... I guess it depends on who else is joining us and where (general area) we were going to meet. Were we still looking at something in Pentagon Row, or what?

A Suggestion ....
I'm not going to be there
, but how about this place? Looks like something for everyone - food and/or drinks along with some entertainment ....
SIN IRISH PUB (D-1)

Experience the luck of the Irish at Sin. Enjoy traditional Irish cuisine such as sheperd's pie and fish and chips, along with your beverage of choice. Enjoy.
