June 7 could be OK for me, too. I will be working on South Michigan near Jakcson. I don't know the town well, but perhaps can find a place nominated by others.

Hey, the Giants are in town this week!

Sorry, would love to meet "the Teacher!" I had some ideas for extricating ourselves from Iraq that I wanted to kick around with you, but I'll be on a mission to Paris!

Where is that? I will just be back in Chcago from a weekend home in San Francisco (youngest son high school graduation!) and may need the Monday lunch to catch-up with staff, but if I can I'd like to join you all.

I am working on South Michigan near Jackson.

Best wishes,

Teacher49

Since we moved offices a few weeks ago, I'm no longer in the Loop, but now across from N-western Metra Station. However, anything Loop or River North (or West) is still easy for me to get to.

I was thinking the same thing...only places I know of are River North area (and Gold Coast, I think). Are we flexible on cuisine if we need to stay in the Loop area?

I do not know if I can make it yet, but thought I'd throw out a South Loop sushi suggestion - Oysy at 888 S Michigan, 1 block or so away from the non-Palmer House Hilton. I do agree that the best sushi is likely to be found elsewhere though.

Should we postpone sushi until a date where a "best" sushi location is good for all and on the 7th do a different cuisine, or go for the so-so-sushi? Other good places in the Loop area could be Millers (on Wabash) or Berghoff Standup Bar? I'm flexible so whatever the majority want.

same and feel we should hold off on sushi until a worthwhile spot is located.
