Thanks Carol, Raymond & Dave!

Dave, who needs sleep? Besides, I have a special project to work on for Boris tonight so he stops yelling at me ;)

Just got back and want to reiterate all the thanks by others!

Regrets:

So many people I wanted to meet -so little time (and I can't member 40 or so new face/names) - the great pics help, though :)

No white pepper crabs at our table - yes I know I could have ordered some but I was sooooo full from what was already ordered :o

My timing at the Sheraton didn't match with when I could have met more people - try to plan better next time.

Thanks:

Esp to Mike - wow this has certainly grown to a huge event - I remember the first DO when we could all sit around (a very large) table.

To all the generous FT who provided such unexpected gifts

For all the great pics that will help me match names to faces

Misc:

I will try to post on the Asia board in the next day or two info about some hotels from the low to high - people know about the Sheraton - but is anyone interested in a hotel for US $23?

Can you believe that I actually met someone at the Sheraton Pool on Monday who thought it was strange to fly so far just for a dinner ;)

wow it looks like everyone had a great time at the SIN DO!!! Next year I will definitly make it! Work and airline pricing just wasn't on my side this year.

Kiwi Flyer Jan 19, 2005 9:39 pm

Only 351 days to go (assuming next year is 5-8 Jan).

Wow - I'm impressed cawhite60156! Even your indoor photos turned out great - such as Chijmes chapel #93. I particularly liked the group photo #85 - taken by the Raffles Hotel concierge, as I recall.

Thanks! Both the Raffles Hotel concierge and Alex (Mr traveliter) had a few cameras in their hands! The outside group photo was a tag-team effort between Gaz and me.

hi all... i missed meeting you because i had a horrible allergy attack that saturday a.m.!!! i have just recovered from it actually, and i'm fine now (although on meds still)... i sent a text message to miles4all that day informing him that i won't make it, so i hope that's a valid 'sick call'.

seeing the photos, i am soooo jealous of being in Singapore and not being able to meet you all! i hope to make it to other Dos.

We have horses like that on the playground here at the school where I work. Had a couple of dangerous flashbacks as I walked by them today. But, since none of my students can see, it will be easier to have another go at it :D. It's just NEVER too late to have a happy childhood!!!!!

The Zurich zoo has not only its new "Masoala hall" imitating the Singapore climate, but also an *actual* petting zoo... and yes, a playground with little horses on springs! So, when are you coming?
