Arrival continues to slide
 

Arrival of the UA contingent from HKG continues to slide. We rebooked onto SQ in biz, but they would only take us in coach. Oddly, UA HKG has a better relationship with CX. I am now posting from the Pier, awaiting our flight to SIN.

We'll see folks in the Conrad lobby bar tonight to head out for pepper crab together.

ws8n, UA put us up at the Airport Hotel and gave us dinner (with some urging) and breakfast.

My local phone number in Singapore is now active.

Ok I'm joining the darkside :) I guess I'll have to wait for April to experience SQ again. Anyhow as SanDiego1k said they didn't like our tickets at SQ so now we're on CX J!

Wow. In SIN at Conrad.
 

I watched from SMF as UA 869 was being delayed. I looked at the flight arrival time yesterday while at SFO and was hoping UA would hold the flight to SIN. I was lamenting eating alone with my arrival (Saturday) this morning into SIN on SQ1 in F. So I am at the Conrad in SIN awaiting the rest of the contingent. Thank goodness I was not on that flight. Hope everyone makes it in for dinner. Regards from SIN.

Just enjoyed having lunch in Little India with miles4all et al. The mango juice took a little getting used to though! Sorry to hear about the delays for the SFO-HKG folks. I talked with SanDiego1K and jan_az at the SFO RCC Thursday. (I'm glad I took the SFO-NRT-SIN flight. :) ) Please post to let us know you've arrived.

We've arrived :) violist met us at the gate. Wireless and I are at the Sheraton now. jan_az and SanDiego1k should have made it to the Conrad by now.

Thanks Miles4All for setting up the lunch, the smell of Indian food as we arrived in the street had my appetite going (or was it because we slept through breakfast ?)

Anyhow, time for a chill out now, just been drinking in the sun on boat quay, and heck it is only an hour before we Sheraton people meet for pre dinner drinks at 6pm.

Please remember to bring a sun hat and a brully (might rain).
A bottle of water is always handy, but also available along the route.
Try to avoid wearing shorts, makes it easier getting into places.

We will take the walk slowly and i have opted for the short route!
