The 14 and 17 I am staying at the Sheraton. Not sure about the other 2 nights.

See you all soon!

We would have been right next to each other... I was supposed to be in 15A SFO-NRT, then 13A NRT-SIN. With the delayed SFO-NRT flight, UA moved me to SFO-HKG-SIN (25F and 17A). I kept looking for a FT tag or something, but didn't see anyone with any FT gear. Oh well. :(

ua.com says we're arriving at 7:21, 895 leaves at 8pm.

I just called UA in HKG, the SFO inbound will arrive just after 8pm, the outbound to SIN (ex ORD) is going to leave on time at 8pm.

So the people travelling on those flights may well end up overnight in HK.

I told the UA agent that they should seriously consider delaying the outbound to SIN, as it only stands there overnight after arrival.

She said, 'well we can't do that' shall see what the ground crew at airport think tonight.

Fingers Crossed

Yeah sorry to have missed you guys :( Alas, we'll surprise RTWSTARALLIANCE tomorrow when we see him on SQ 1. Anyhow all isn't bad at least for now as from what I can tell we are in SQ C :-)

Well, we did try our darnest best to get them to delay the flight for you guys. GK talked to every UA staff that crossed his path!

Anyhow, we were thinking of delaying the lunch tomorrow or at least waiting for you guys. Maybe someone with a GSM mobile can PM me your number and we can try to arrange from there!

Alternatively, what we could do is to arrange an alternative meeting point in Chinatown since we're headed there after the lunch anyhow. Maybe we could meet at the fare gates of Chinatown MRT station at 2pm? What say you guys?

Hang in there!!!!! ^ Will check with the rest in Singapore when we meet in a few minutes for LAu Pa Sat.

Group Decision

Ok, all you folks stuck in HKG....

Firstly, we in SIN are glad that you are going on SQ C!!! Not a bad deal afterall!!!

Secondly, we have decided to keep lunch at the original time considering that we are going to have a power dinner at 1900hrs. So, if you guys can make it, give me a holler (I've PM-ed you guys my local cell number) and we'll wait at the restaurant. If not, we'll see you guys at Chinatown at the fare gates of the Chinatown MRT station.

Finally, we took some great pictures of the empty seats in the upper deck!!! :p :D

See ya tomorrow and try not to enjoy SQ C too much!

Great to know that UA protected you all on SQ C. Which hotel did they put you up in HKG?
