Smile MSP - Friday, May 14th

Anyone around and interested in meeting for Drinks/Dinner?

I'm in town to watch my nieces circus performance (great activity for kids if you're in that area) but get Friday night off.

I'm 15 minutes from everywhere

I live in St Paul and work near the Mall of America. All in all, I can get nearly anywhere in 15 - 30 minutes. Let's see if anyone else posts. If not, we can take this to email and find a place that work's for both of us and post the result.

Works for me -- I'm not far from Mall of America or St Paul, for that matter but my geography is sketchy of the area in general. I'll touch base in a couple of weeks.

Hey guys, I've been waiting/hoping for a MinneDo....

... but I just booked travel to HNL for my family and me. I fly in May 13 at 9:30pm, then we all leave May 14 at 9:00am.

Any remote chance something may work out for me??

I might be able to meet you for a drink, but won't know until Thursday.

ELP = El Paso, Tx.
There are a lot of choices within the Mall. Maybe there? I'll give it some more thought....

Bringing this back to the top

Since the date is getting closer, I thought I'd bump this up.

Eating at the Mall of America (I was careful not to say dining) would include Famous Dave's BBQ, Bubba Gump, Hooters, Ruby Tuesday, Twin City Grill, and a dozen other places I cannot think of at this time. If we were doing the Mall, I say Famous Dave's for quality/value or Twin City Grill for their extensive list of mixed beverages. But I am more that willing to go anywhere the group decides. Near the Mall there is a smokey Outback Steak house, Chevy's, TGIFridays, and more places I cannot think of.

There is also this diner, urban diner, they call it that is idine. It is www.highlandgrill.com That would be ten minutes north of the Mall in St Paul.

Thanks for providing some choices. I like look of the Highland Grill and it will keep us away from the MOM traffic mayhem. mspguy, will that work for you?

Does 7:30 work to meet for dinner?

Now that the Freddies are over, I'm very much looking forward to my MSP trip and the opportunity to meet more FT'ers

Question 7:30 it is

Could I have an RSVP count? I'll check to see if the Grill will take a reservation. The place is small. mspman, if you need a ride from the airport to the grill give me a shout.

If you are in, raise your hand
