Oh no! I can’t believe it.

It was Michael (Violist) who told me about Pat’s illness some years ago when we met in Nuremberg but she seemed to be doing better since. I think it was at the NUE Christmas Market Do in December 2019 when I saw Pat and Michael last, and it happens to be the last FT Do I have attended.

Rest in Peace, Pat.

So sad to hear this news.

I only met Lili a few times, mostly with violist, I was so glad to know that they have each other as travel companions. I know she’s been ill and was always hoping for the best. Rest in peace.

Very sad to read about the passing of Pat,

I first met Lili at an Ozfest Do in Cairns in 2009, I then met lili and also violist who has also sadly passed at different dos around the world, Singapore, Australia, US,

Last time I met lili and violist was at the last Singapore Do 2020, and we caught a taxi back to the Conrad, after the Saturday night dinner. We had a drink in the lounge just before closing, not realizing that it was probably the last time we would meet.

In 2010 Lili was at attending Ozfest in Adelaide and we were both attending Wine Do a few weeks later in New York and lili graciously carried the wine from Australia to New York for wine Do.

So many memories.

I was fortunate as well to have a chance to meet both Pat and Michael on a few occasions, last in NUE. Wonderful people. Here's a shot of them getting festive for our night on the town.

Such a shock to hear this. Like so many other FTers I have very fond memories of Pat & seeing her at Dos. She will be missed. RIP my friend.

Ive enjoyed many shared experiences with Lili/Pat.
Life seems shorter when someone is lost. Also losing Pat's partner in crime Michael (Violist) recently makes it rougher and more real doesn't it!
Many here knew them better than me, however my 8-10 shared events with Pat leave me richer for the experience. RIP Pat! (and again Michael)

Hello folks! I am Pat's son, Michael. I wanted to take a moment to thank all of you for the kind thoughts, wonderful memories and great photographs you have posted here. I also want to thank you all for being an important part of my mother's life over the last 20-plus years while she traveled around the world with you. She has regaled me with stories of your travels over the years!

We will have a casual celebration to raise a glass in her memory on June 18th in San Diego. Let me know if you would like more information.

Thank you,
Michael

Agreed.

I enjoyed their good company and some very good wines at NYC Wine Do's and I'm all the richer for the experience.

I too haven’t been on FT for awhile but was saddened to hear of Pat. It was always such a joy to see her and Violist at FT events over the years and catch up with her on how things were going. Many happy memories!

Very sad to learn of this! Met Pat in a few DOs over the years, such a kind person and pleasure to be around. To her son Michael, you should be proud of your mom.

Booking my tickets for SIN DO 2023, whether there is one or not. It immediately came to mind that Pat and Michael will no longer be with us in body, but certainly in spirit. On each of them passing, I was rendered speechless, by the catch in my throat and the tears in my eyes. They both meant so much to me.
I was fortunate to spend the last SIN DO and post do with them in Langkawi Malaysia before the world changed forever by the pandemic. I will miss them always.
