looking back through the thread, we had 11am brunch reservations at Julia’s in Wallingford
PSA -
Ballard has a Sunday Farmers’ Market — this means parking is at a premium, and takeout-only restaurants like Rachel’s are likely to be crowded
since Polytonic got started on the subject of bagels for brunch, allow me to suggest Roxy’s Diner in Fremont as an alternative
just sayin’ — indoor seating on a drizzly 40-degree morning is a big plus

There's that pub next to Fremont bridge "318" aka Nickerson St Saloon that has lots of parking.

Do they take reservations? I don't see any mention of it on their website.

318 closed last year; it’s a construction zone now

well, Hops and Props was a great event all around
a lot of other stuff going on yesterday so we are all a bit on the slow side this morning; how about 1230 for rendezvous at Roxy’s?
Old Salt is a specialty bagel spot in Fremont if that’s more to everyone’s liking

thanks again to Polytonic for kick-starting this meetup thread … Roxy’s was a fine venue, although for future reference it appears that the largest group they can accommodate at a single table is 6 (also — they don’t take reservations, and the wait list is first-come first-seated)

Anyone want to do something this summer? It's getting to be a bit hot for the year, but maybe we can squeeze something in before the inevitable wildfire smoke hits us.

I'm up for a meet up, but with very limited availability. Between trips (MEX and ARN) and family visiting, my dance card has limited space available. I could do something in late August.
