My 1000th post!
Just wanted to use this 1000th post to thank everybody on FlyerTalk for your wit and wisdom regarding all things travel related. Through FT, Ive:
Found out about the amazing AA Fly 3 promo at the time I was in NYC and MrKS was in San Francisco, so we took enough flights to get tickets to Tokyo and to send his parents to South America
Successfully done a platinum challenge
Attended a Mileage Run 101 seminar, then went from SFO to IAD via SEA (hey, I know its not much but you have to start somewhere)
Done a CC trade that got us to PVR for what turned out to be where we got engaged
Received postcards from nearly 20 places around the country and the world, which became our wedding centerpieces
Sent postcards and gifts to various 4th graders, looked for medicine at my local drugstore, voted for road warriors and Antarctica seekers, and met some great folks at various dinners around the Bay Area
Been gifted 3P status after being unexpectedly grounded for most of 2009
Received years of wonderful and thoughtful Secret Santa gifts
Truly this is a great group of people.
By the way now Im actually KSinSFO and MrKS and I have been joined by babyKS. Hopefully well be traveling more next year we all need to get back our elite status!
Looking forward to my next 1000 posts in this great community known as FlyerTalk.
