Wow... I sure hope this date and location sticks. Would you believe that my company is having our annual users group meeting, one that moves around the world to a different country each year, in New York City on April 27th and 28th, and I would already have to stay for a breakfast on the 29th anyway?
Thanks for making this so convenient, Randy!

Hmmm....how to phrase this delicately.... Considering the going rate for NYC hotels that are a bit higher up the Manhattan food chain than Embassy Suites, an appropriate FTer attendee negotiated rate seems like it should be under $200 for Wednesday or Thursday night (and somewhat lower still for followon weekend stays). But then, what the heck do I know?

While I am delighted beyond expression that Randy is bringing the Freddies back home to New York, the Embassy Suites near the WTC is hardly new. It's very nice, but I'm quite sure it was built before the turn of the century.

I'm glad that the Freddies are returning to NYC. However, I would humbly suggest considering the previous Thursday. The NFL draft is April 24th and this would create a 'double-dip' weekend for all the football fans.
