Everybody's a wiseguy.

I'm in for breakfast. May I suggest a Flyertalker favorite ... Veselka. It's on Second Ave. and East 9th Street in the East Village. Very low key place. Far from your typical breakfast place. Besides the (upscale) usual, they have lots of Polish/Jewish favorites like home made blintzes (crepes) and potato pirogen (dumplings filled with cheese or potato).

Jan, what time works best for you?

Dan

Date: Saturday November 15
Time: 10:00am
Place: VESELKA om the corner of Second Ave and East 9th St.

Since it's virtually in my backyard, and I"m not traveling that weekend, I am going to try to make it.

Don't think I was here before, but the kelbasi has me tempted to give it a try.

Count me in too.

I can vouch for the place. It was even a part of a conversation I had this weekend.

I'm going to try to make it if I can get another Philly area mystery flyertalker to join me in a drive up.

Friendly bump with a question... does this place take Credit Card or Cash only (so I know to have enough to pay at time of cheque.)
