Wow, violist, what a detailed trip report.
After I left you all, I met up with my cousin in Times Square. I found out what play she is in. It's "Never Gonna Dance" (www.nevergonnadance.com) and it officially opens the first week in December. It's located in the theater right across the street from the theater where "The Producers" is.
After catching up with Ashley, I roamed around to my usual favorite places -- shopping on Fifth Avenue (what would a trip to NYC be without visiting the Salvatore Ferragamo shoe shop?), a visit to Rockerfeller Plaza where the Christmas tree was getting set up, and a walk through Central Park.
I liked the US Shuttle aircraft as it was previously configured much better. I didn't feel like using upgrade certs for such a short trip, so I sat in the first row of coach on the aisle both ways.

ALYSIA: Your cousin will probably be working for quite a while. I've tried to get GOOD seats for Never Gonna Dance for the whole month of December and all they have available are seats all the way on the side or all the way on the top. I'm glad she's in a hit! Break a leg!

Long overdue thanks for a great breakfast/brunch. Good to finally meet some Flyertalkers and see old friends. (yes, Jan, I came to see YOU, the kelbasi was just a nice sidedish ;0) )
A very delicious trip report Violist. NYC has so many good places to eat you can always satisfy your appetite.
We New Yorker FLyertalkers need to do this on a more, monthly basis (like the Chicago, DC, Seattle and other groups.)
Hope to see you all again soon.

Alysia: A big thank you for your offer. However we were trying for the half price tickets since we paid full for Avenue Q and Jackie Mason. I will hope that they become available again after New Years, but your kindness is much appreciated.
