Chicago - Turkish Cuisine & Hookahs

Well it is that time of the year again; my wife has started her Masters classes again so I’m cut free on Thursday nights. Time to get the Chicago FT’ers and of course any other FT’ers around out to dinner.

My first suggestion is for some Turkish Cuisine, hookahs are available for those that would want to. I’ve never tried so I would be game, they provide the tobacco.

I’m searching for dates, how does Thursday Oct 30th work for people?

Probably not, but actually I’ve never asked.

We normally start dinner about 7:30-7:45pm to allow people to get there from work.

Turkish cuisine sounds excellent...probably a 50% chance on the 30th.
<the 23rd would be my first choice but that's probably too soon to get it together>

I would be game for the Turkish food but I'll watch when it comes to the hookahs. I don't like smoke or STDs.

Willie,

I didn't know you were into smoking the wacky tobacki.

As always, I'm up for the food but that hooky thing kinda gets me a bit worried. The last thing I need is for the wife to have to come bail me out. I have been told that jail cells are uncomfortable place to spend the night.

Location-wise...whereabouts are we talking about?

I would like to partake but I will be landing in Vegas just about the time dinner would start on Oct 30.

I was at a club with a "hookah room" once. The tobacco used was strictly legal, with many types/flavors to choose from. As for the concerns of using a communal hookah don't worry...everyone is given their own plastic mouthpiece.

I'm not sure if I'll be in town on the 30th, but if I'm not I'll be able to attend. But none of these smoking hookahs for me.
