Impromptu Chicago dinner DO - Aug 8th
It's been since the Vodka DO since I've seen a lot of people, and I think it'd be great to get together again with old and new friends.
So, I'll call out - August 8th, 8pm-ish, location TBD.
Who's in?

Tsunami on Clark is the only one in the city that I really know. They also have a cigar lounge on the 3rd floor. I'm sure some others can suggest some more places in the city. I know how you guys don't like venturing out into the burbs too often.

Tsunami sucks .... Overpriced and they're snooty. If you feel like taking a run to iluv2fly/Goat's hood, we can do Bistro Pacific.

Like I said, anywhere is fine and it doesn't have to be Japanese either. Since you started the thread, just decide and people will come. As long as I have some gas in the car, money in my pocket, and they have valet parking, I'll be there.

I land at ORD at 3:47 that day. Assuming my host is agreeable, please count two more for dinner.

UA835 in Flyertalk Dining mentioned Caf Sushi which is a BYOB place in Old Town. Seeing as I expect some drinking to go on thoughout the night, this would keep the bar bill down (Im a poor man, that is important)

or Middle Eastern food at Old Jerusalem, then onto? http://www.flyertalk.com/dining/ftdi...ML/000058.html
Im up for anything.
