I don't think that anyone was 100% on us doing sushi... I know at least one other attendee who would do a happy dance if we went somewhere else....

I like shiro hana for quality price ratio, but busy and small and noisy.
akai hana maybe not good enough?

new place in metromix "sushi x" u may want to consider.

Agreed, Shiroi Hana is way too small.
Akai Hana would be excellent. Good service, good food, plenty of parking. You're referring to the Wilmette location, right?

mmm... tapas gets my vote.
Easier to share (sushi is too much of a "personal preference" thing) and we can get bombed on sangria.
