I never open the seatbelt when flying.

Even when the sign comes off.. I open it when I get up to the bathroom or so of course, but besides this.. I truly believe that when that several hundred ton heavy plane hits the ground at 800 kms per hour..that seatbelt might safe me, LOL.

Never being in FC or in a RCC counts for me too...
Never been really in Chicago, Denver or NYC but changed planes there a couple of times and spend hours and hours at these airports.
I also didnt apply to Deltas program despite flying MUC-DEN with them once (hey, still makes 10k miles!)
and most of all I did not get the Muc-den flight the year afterwards credited to my already existing Lufthansa M&M account!

I've never had a home PC!

Never purchased a first class ticket, but never flown in Coach on non-commuter flights in North America. (Have flown Coach on International routes though)

Joined AAdvantage on August 22nd, 1991, didn't earn any miles for flights until 1996.

Never eaten seafood when in a seafood restaurant.

PUCCI GALORE Aug 13, 2002 5:58 am

I have never not had my own way.

I have never flown United and thought how young and fresh the crew were.

I have never watched the Sound of Music, Grease, or the Great Escape.

I have never paid for a headset in Economy

I have never allowed passengers to read newspapers whilst I am doing a safety demo.

I have never been spat at without retaliating

I have never been afraid to use a Boys Bathroom if there was a line to the Ladies.

I have never been ticketed for speeding in the USA (a british accent works wonders).

I have never kicked an animal or a child.

I have never not attempted to kick anyone that I saw doing such a thing.

I have never bought or owned a Bruce Springstein record.

I have never belonged to the BA Executive Club.

I have never stopped loving Brian Ferry.

I have never flinched at parking in places that other people regard as their own.

I have never allowed my Husband to tuck his shirt into his underpants.

I have never stood up at anyone's wedding and shouted "It should have been ME!".

I have never ever shared any of our male cabin crew's make-up even though it is ever so much dearer than mine.

I have never told anyone that they look like a Gargoyle in Drag, even though the person who interviewed me at Air France years ago looked like she'd climbed off Notre Dame cathedral.

I have never stopped enjoying being with all of you.

BUT before this thread get closed and shunted off to the Siberian Gulag of Omni, my total shame is that.

I watch The Jerry Springer Show.

(I see all that new found respect just evaporating before my eyes!)

I have a note in my various airline accounts that I am claustrophobic and need to sit in an aisle seat or I will throw up on the PAX next to me. This has resulted in countless upgrades to Bus, when no aisle seat in economy exists, riding on FA seats (twice) and in the cockpit once (pre 9/11). I'm not really that bad but I do prefer an aisle http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

Oh yeah, I have never done a mileage run.

If you want to experience good customer service from an airline forget Air Canada and try CanJet or WestJet

braslvr Aug 16, 2002 11:24 pm

Hey, this is a good thread. Just found it.

I also have never tasted coffee...just the smell has always been enough to keep me away.

Have never eaten pasta in an Italian restaurant.

Have never eaten a fruit plate or cereal on an airplane.

Have never had or used an AMEX card.

Have never been inside a Mercedes, Audi, Corvette, or Jaguar.

Have never worn a suit other than to funerals.

Have never worn a tux other than to my wedding.

Have never owned or worn a sweater.

Have never used a computer for anything business related. (I own my own business)

Have never seen an opera, ballet, or theater.

Times been to FRA: 2
Times cleared FRA Customs: 4 (3 in one day)

I enrolled in the Aeroflot Bonus program just for the card.

I've purchased 4 cartons of cigarettes but never smoked one.

I've never worn a tuxedo or a suit.

I don't know how to ski.

I live in the San Francisco area, and I've never been to Fisherman's Wharf, Coit Tower, Candlestick Park or Pac Bell Park.

The one and only concert I have been to was N'Sync, and I don't even like them. I went solely for one of the opening acts.

I didn't go to my high school prom.

I wish I had a real excuse like that for not going to either of mine - the first year, my date bugged out at the last minute, and the second year, I didn't go because I didn't care.

However, I will freely admit to having listened to "Stairway to Heaven" thirty-seven times in a row. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

Mike

Xyzzy Apr 13, 2003 7:34 pm

Stairway to heaven? I rather liked litening to it 22 times!

BTW, I've never seen the above TV shows either.

Oh, where were we -- humiliation?

I've been to Hawaii but I never left the airport. I've never been on a SIN run or anywhere within 3000+ miles of SIN.

I've never had a cup of coffee on an airplane (though some of the tea tastes like coffee).

Never shop. Big zero on the customs slips.

I have only flown 14,000 miles so far this year. (1 trip)

I don't have any status with any of the domestic carriers.

I like airplane food.

Trying to decide if I should do a MR. Most FTers wouldn't be thinking as long as me I assume.

I can't sleep the night before a DO cause I'm so excited http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

I am deciding if discovering FT was good or bad for me http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Sorry, it doesn't really count if you were by yourself.

yann Jun 8, 2003 10:29 am

Here's mine:

I once flew CDG-RIO-GRU-EZE and back in coach without de-boarding (total flying time ~30 hours) instead of going to Rio for the Carnival, because I did not think that a visa was needed to enter Brasil.

Have never been to Petaluma! How can you not take the time to visit some of these places? I know they are touristy, but when one visits, they must ask for these sites.

Have never made a FT coupon trade, but have "gifted" some. Have never attended a DO but looking forward to some in the future. Have never slammed another FTalker for wording their opinions, no matter how out of place it could have been.

Welcome to FlyerTalk, xycaliteen! That was a great first post. Sadly, you are not unique on being a vagabond. Come hang around and meet the rest of the posters who are unemployed, underemployed, or just lazy. FT is a hoot.
