Moderators appreciation thread (take 2)
This one vanished last night
After several months of moderation and without naming specific moderators I'd like to thank ALL of FT's moderators for doing a splendid job, there will always be some disagreement on how, when and why but IMHO FT has greatly improved since moderation was introduced!

I was initially a fan of moderation myself but watching the hypocritical and inconsistent application of policies by many moderators on different forums I fear that my support for the concept has eroded somewhat.

In most of the forums, the moderators are doing an excellent job. To give an example, the UAL moderators are a class act, even though they have to contend with several FTers who have sworn to perpetually flame bait via ad hominem attacks.
On the other hand, the moderators in some of the other forums have not remained impartial "adjudicators", and exercise their moderating powers in a manner unbecoming of the position. I won't name names here, but taking a good look at the forums will indicate where this is taking place.

Folks, this is MY appreciation thread, if you have issues with moderation start your own thread. I am happy with ALL of them. There are plenty of places to complain about moderation, please don't make this one of them...
Thanks!
Thanks!
