Attendance at my first FT do has left me with a positive glow. Before my usual lethargy sets in, I'd like to express my interest in attending - including Delmonico's.

Is outside wine allowed at the Friday W&C festival? What time should I fly in?

Friday's get together is going to be a very informal gathering. No pre determined time is required. I was thinking 8ish. For those who land much earlier in the day I will probably run to downtown and pick them up if the number isn't huge. I think we are going to have a great crowd. Lot's of new names popping up for this one. Since it is at my house, you can bring your own wine (no box o wine, please, unless of course you are mashav using it to beat the ryhthm on the bar http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif)

My wife just found out that her best friend in Metairie is pregnant, so it's much easier to justify the trip!

I just tried to walk thru the steps to get it for you, and they seem to be gone now.
The best I can find is a $189 AAA rate.

The FT rate you can get by calling is $179. Also people may want to think about sharing rooms. Room size is fairly generous at the W Poydras and you won't be spending huge amounts of time in your hotel anyway.
