What Topic has the alltime Hightest Post
Would the Baht run at 700+ and the Hampton Inn reviews be the highest?
I mispelled Highest How do I fix that?

Milesbuzz ??
To answer the question though, I think a potential candidate for the prize would have to be the topic "8:16" currently found in the OMNI forum of the FT TRAVEL Board (which is probably where this topic should be). The board doesn't list how many posts, but there are currently 41 pages of posts. The first page has 35 posts. Assuming each page has a similar number of posts, that comes to over 1400, which is double the amount metioned in the above-post. I don't know if that is the record holder though, but it has got to be a contender.

This really isn't discussion about the latest frequent flyer program buzz.
I'm going to move it to Community, because that forum has been home to plenty of discussion about Flyertalk itself and Flyertalkers -- although really the post isn't about get togethers!
So I make the move quite humbly, recognizing that it might well belong in Omni...

I believe the largest numbers of posts in a single thread and related to flying or miles or points (i.e. not 'word association' 1 word responses!) was the Baht Run to 1K thread in The Buzz at about 725 posts and 21 pages. The Hampton review thread has got to 518 and 15 pages.
I recall once reading a post from Doc or someone that the wonderful Latin Pass promo had tons of posts too, but that was spread over several threads. As have been the "who we all are" series of which they are many long threads and in total I feel would sure easily pass 1000 posts. Someone once indexed/summarised them all into one thread IIRC?

Come and visit the most ** FRIENDLY FORUM ** on FlyerTalk. No flame wars, no personal abuse, no substance abuse. Not much of anything really!

I sure wouldn't mind an updated one though!

So, count the posts on the last page (which will be 35 or fewer), multiply the number of other pages by 35, and add the result to get the total number of posts in that thread.

Even though the information in the who we all are files contains the latest post, I am sure that some of the details in the WWAA database are woefully out of date since this started a couple of years back and people have probably changed jobs, retired, gone back to work, had babies, got married, gone to jail . . .

Definitely OMNI material.
What with a reported 250,000 unique hits per day, we need to keep FT Community as close to the forum rubric as possible.
Happy Sunday all!
