as every year (since having played on grass here in Melbourne myself in 1963) - yes, Gisela and I are there again, arriving Thursday jan-16 late, for all sessions until men's final on Sunday jan-26.
I still have one complimentary ground ticket left for Sunday, jan-19.
We stay at the Georgian Court guest house, 21-25 George Street , East Melbourne VIC 3002, tf +61-3-94196353. The Georgian Court guest house is in 15 minutes walking distance from the site, along the Cricket stadium, two blocks from the Hilton (the official tournament hotel) where many players stay.
I meet goodo on monday, 20 at 10:15AM at the Hilton lobby.
And right now, I am watching (local swiss time 3:15AM) 'our' (swiss) Roger Federer playing on the Rod Laver central court.
And after the tournament, on Tuesday, jan-28, ozstamps visits us for the day.

i'm at the grand hyatt on 19/1, the marriot on 20/1, and the hilton 21-24/1. would be interested in that ground pass on sunday, but i don't arrive in town until 11, and will be at the hotel around 12noon. i'll have to take my chances at the box office once i get settled.
any reason for the shift from the grand hyatt to the hilton for the players this year? seemed alright to me, but then i'm just a scrub of a fan.

sorry to have checked this board only now (after the Saturday night session), here at the Kinko 136 Exhibition Street, minutes before midnight.
The Sunday ground pass is gone (I did gift it today to a hotel guest).
The Hilton (the closest hotel to the Tennis) has always been one of the players and officials favorites - the Hyatt too (still is).
The politicians, who only fly in for the finals, stay at the Windsor.
