Techgirl, put me down as probable please. Glad you are doing this! And I need to visit my mother in FT. W.
Downtown FT. W. is terrific now and I think is the best choice. Are we going to eat at Joe T's?

Good call on FW. Would've been my vote anyway. Anything a guy who a) doesn't live in DFW but lives semi-close and b) is never where he lives anyway, can do to help out, let me know.
And Missy, I took 520 back and forth today. Took me 25 minutes each time. Total. See what happens when I don't listen to you?

techgirl, thanks for a great idea!
Please count me in as a maybe (just in case I have a schedule conflict.) I want to help! Please let me know what I can do.
BTW, I'd like to suggest the Dart Rail ride to downtown Ft. Worth (it starts from downtown Dallas and stops over at DFW-Centreport) if anyone doesn't want to drive the long distance. I tried it for a night out and really enjoyed it.

I think I heard someone mention Billy Bob's Honky Tonk at the stockyards on a BUSY night?
After our recent Monday night fizzer there, please add Joh and I as definite maybes.

Well, I have to say I'd much rather do karaoke in Ft Worth where there's far less chance I'll run into someone I know!
I haven't been to Joe T.'s in 15 years. How has it held up? Is it still a great spot or has fame and notoriety gone to its head?
I'm in on the probable list.

Joe T.'s is still great. Lovely patio, wonderful Mexican food. It's still an institution from what I can tell.

techgirl, I don't know what kinds of scheduling conflicts mauy come up, but I am willing to assist in the planning. Jeez, I may actually head west for entertainment now, rather than crossing the county line to Big D.
