No viewer of this thread should feel awkward or hesitant at what she or he can contribute to FlyerTalk. FT is strong because all share with each other. As far as "the regulars" having the "inside track" on some of the forums, the first to post a very important, very recent change in the AAdvantage program was a first-time poster. (See http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=504023). Remember, we were all new posters, once.
Many of you have in your profiles travel experience that will help us all and hope you will feel comfortable sharing it in the appropriate forums.

Newbies rule!
Actually, it's nice being part of the under 100 club on FT. On all the other boards I post on, I have a lot of posts and thus am considered an old-timer.
Not sure I'll ever claim old-timer / regular status here. A lot of people have posted and continue to post a lot of stuff. Makes my head spin!

i guess the first question you have to ask yourself, is your post relevant to the topic
if it is then go ahead, otherwise use discretion
then again, so far IMHO FT has more nice people on
*crosses fingers*

What have been your pet peeves on Flyertalk so far.....?
Mine is when a newbie asks a question and then fifty people post about different threads the newbie should have looked at first....most do it in a nice way, but there are a couple of posters who never cease to be condescending. By the way, this has never happened to me yet, I just feel sorry for those that it has happened to.

1337? -- not even close
With this posting, I officially hit the amazingly high 10th post! So now I'm only about 80 OQPs from 'true status'. Anyone know of a 'challenge' or something???
I guess I'll just have to do it the old-fashioned way, huh??

As this is the 102nd milepost in this thread, it is painfully ironic that this thread no longer belongs in its own club.
Should this thread be evicted from itself?!?

However, this thread by itself may be counted as the weighted friendly gesture from our big FT community.
