I don't think i was looking for any input, just posting the latest news - which is what a majority of members had asked for. I actually don't consider this entertainment and the bottom line of any members actions on FlyerTalk IF you have decided to not post information or an opinion about miles and points and the greater topic of travel is the golden rule that fortunately most of us have learned. It's one of those times when it's almost humous to reflect on something that even became a best selling book: I Learned Everything I Know In Kindergarden. The single lesson - play nice with others.

We have on FlyerTalk the availability of moderators and myself to bring attention of members who simply can't stay on topic. Taking these maters into your own hands simply does not work.

And yes, there are a few more members who are dangerous close to this same result. Message: Don't do the flame if you can't share the blame.

Now, if you'll excuse me. I want to go spend a little time figuring out the direction of elections for new members of the TalkBoard. Have a great weekend.

Still topical, after all this time.

Transparency and openness and accountability.
Food for thought, I guess. It does not seem that far of a leap to see who is clamoring for what. It's also kind of ironic that at the end of the day, the talkboard advises Randy.

I wonder if "transparency and openness and accountability" also applies to Randy's brain?

Vote informed, folks. It's been rare indeed that one has seen a thread like this, and it's fortunately available as evidence to at least one candidate that you can wish for it, and sometimes get what you ask for.

Good advice, I think I'll take it.

Many are I hope oiRRio. ^

I guess when Randy personally locked this three years ago he'd least expect one of his Moderators to be dredging it up from the archives, and in flagrant disregard to the clear written policy given by Moderators here only a half hour before he did it.

When he sees this gem on his return from vacation, we will all know the answer I guess.

ClueByFour - perhaps in your zeal to quote Randy's final paragraph, you overlooked those above it?
