Giants tickets???
So in past eyars mr. squeakr worked for a small company with season tix so we had a chance to buy WS tickets (not like it's happened in ages but we could have...)
this year we both have new jobs and no contacts with anyone...and we're more broke so scalpers are not an option....
anyone willing to talk to me about tix for any of the 3 SF games please email....
I am a longtime Giant fan (OK, in a former life I was a red sox fan....) and was AT game 3 of the 89 series...I mr. squeakr and I would dearly love to attend one more WS game in our lifetimes....
thanks all...

A FEW WS tickets go on same on the SF Giants Internet site tomorrow (Wed. 10/16) at 10 am sharp. These are at list price, starting, I believe at $60, + probably service charge(s). It will be tough, but perhaps worth a try.
Sorry, I don't have the actual URL, but you can probably get it from one of the search engines, such as GOOGLE.
Good lick!

7000 tickets will be on sale tomorrow at 10 am on the Giants website and via phone. The other 7000 will be sold at Pacbell park, but they are spoken for. They handed out 1750 wristbands yesterday to determine the queue. Limit is 4 per person. After doing the math it seems that if everyone who got a wristband shows up they will get 4 tickets.

Further to my reply above. At 10 am Pacific time, got to www.sfgiants.com, and click on tickets. There will be 10's of thousands of people trying to do the same thing, so good luck!
Typo in my note above, tickets go on SALE....

Sorry, couldn't resist. Seriously, I hope you die hard fans get your tix! There is nothing quite like playoff baseball, and PacBell is wonderful. (Saw my first game there last year when Bonds hit #58 into the Bay!).

It seemed like Internet tickets went on sale a few minutes early, around 9.54am Pacific. I've been trying since then to get a batch of four (I'll be with non-FTers). Of the three or four times I've gotten as far as the "select price level" screen, I've not yet been able to get through to the next screen after that. AAARRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHH! I HATE THE DAM.N INTERNET!!
As of this moment, tickets still seem to available for all three games (3, 4 and 5*).

I gave up trying to get tix since I ended up in the Virtual Room trying to get DS tix. Everybody at work today was cursing about the Virtual Room. I just laughed.

Hundreds of thousands of furstrated fans trying to get WS tickets via the internet yesterday. From today's SF Chronicle:
ONLINE TICKETING TURNS OFF
Fans trying to buy World Series tix on the Web experience timeouts, teases and, ultimately, frustration.
