Have a blast!!!! Plus, you're a big Giants fan too.

I've seen Cal Ripken break the streak, been to a bunch of ALCS, ALDS games for the Yanks, but I still haven't been to a World Series. Everyone I've talked to who has been says it a magical thing. Isn't October great?

Have fun. Did they let you keep your same season tix seats? There are no bad seats really in PacBell.

it's all in how you look at it...I would give one(s)up if I had them....but I was also hoping someone might have company , business or connections or whatever that they could see 2 for not much over face....

Yes, I thought there would have been some horsetrading on tickets by now. I do see the prices for tickets softening on Ebay though, vis a vis yesterday.

There was one person offering to pay face value, plus 70,000 UAL miles for a pair of tickets to an Anaheim game.

I would do that if it was an FT'er I knew...I am just loath to get UAL tickets for someone I don't know and then be stuck w/ counterfeit WS tix....

By the way - any of you who would really like a ticket - things occasionally pop up. I just called Ticketmaster, and got a great single seat for Game 2 - lower view between bases, front row.

It never hurts to give a call.

I couldn't agree with you more. I don't know about the Angels WS tickets, but the Giants ones are barcoded. No stub is torn off so there's no way of knowing whether the tickets are still good. They are validated with a barcode reader at the gate.

Same with Lakers/Clippers/Kings and events in LA.

Yeah, but the Giants didn't have a Bonds/Santiago punch like they do now! Also, the '89 A's were awesome!

I've seen every excuse...need to pay for college tuition, need to pay for my new car, need to pay for next year's season tickets...and of course the well-worn rationale -
"it's what the market will bear."

OK I'm an ex-hippie with alot of those old-order values but - how sad that a lot of true fans like me don't even have a chance....
