Luggage Storage Facilities

First things first. I know I am in the wrong section for this query but the Airports section has been a little dry of late. I have a stopover in LAX for some 15 hours. According to LAX's web site there are no storage facilities at the airport. Can anyone advise on what my options are given that I will be unable to check my luggage in earlier?. Thanks for any advice.

after sep-11, I don't know of any US airport anymore providing storage facilities in the airports.

My solutions: I take the next hotel-airport shuttle showing up, tip the bellman and store my luggage there, for may-be a $2 tip per pieve (minimum $5).

Or maybe have a FT member in LA show you around for the day, and toss the luggage in their trunk? If you don't have any fixed plans, that might work, too.

I love Rudi's idea .... never thought of that. I agree that it does not belong here, but I imagine this thread is quite pertinent for Travel Buzz, which does get a lot of visitors. This is a problem many of us have.
