Who will fly on Sept. 11?

I'm thinking what I might do is leave the US on September 10 and fly down to New Zealand. By the time I get there, it will be September 12. So, I will never experience September 11 again.
However, if I do fly on that day, I intend to give a little gift to every single airline employee that I deal with that day.

Great idea re gift for airline employees (FAs and flight crew) that day. The only thing I could think of would be something like a Starbuck's gift certificate. Any ideas?
On 9/11 I will be flying BNA-MEM-MKE-DTW-CLE, the second/return day of an 8 segment CO/NW run. I'm guessing whatever I decide to give, I better have at least 30 of "it".

Starbucks certificates are a great idea, although they're phasing them out in the US, to be replaced by those plastic loyalty cards (I guess you can just get put a couple of euros/pounds/dollars on each)
I'll almost certainly be in NYC reporting for my newspaper on 9/11, but I'd rather be flying. It will be nice to be part of our transatlantic support for the US.
Even more than usual, I'll be showing every flight crew and every airline employee that I appreciate how much they've been through over the past year. Chocolates, vouchers, a good chat in the galley, whatever it takes. Any other tips for gifts?
Alastair

Second, how do you give those to pilots? I mean, after all, it just wouldn't sound right if they went to their wives or girlfriends -- and before I get flamed, yes, I know that there are female pilots, but they are few and far between -- and said, hey, I got this from a passenger.
I dunna what I'll give out. I'll ask my friends what they think would be cool.
Any crew who want to jump in here, feel free.

Being IAD based, I was thinking of just taking AA from IAD - LAX non stop on 9/11, the first one in the a.m. at 8:20 a.m. as this is the closest one to the one that was taken over on 9/11. However, AA must not have too many problems selling seats as the best I can get with a 9/12 turnaround is $404 and that is via DFW on the outbound and I'm not going to do this for that fare and if I can't take that 8:20 a.m. nonstop flight. The best fare I can find for the 8:20 a.m. flight on 9/11 is over $2200 bucks.. forget it.. I'm not into showing my support at those prices..
