While this thread may be nice, I still say a much more fun thread would be to name the five FTers that you would not like to meet. I know that isn't possible, but is sure would be fun.

It would be hard for some to narrow it down to that small of a number...

There is, indeed, at least one FlyerTalker who meets your first requirement. Oddly enough, he goes by the user name of "Canarsie".

As far as your second is concerned, I don't know of any FTer who would admit to that. As we tend to be a well-educated group, there are probably a lot more graduates of Midwood HS.

I think a fair comparison of the two schools can be achieved by looking at their respective Segals (both of whom passed away in the last few months):

Midwood High School: Erich Segal, professor of Greek and Latin literature at Princeton, Harvard, and Yale. Author of Love Story.

Erasmus High School: Sheldon Segal, contraceptive developer.

Funny how I never knew about this thread, but started a similar one on the QF Forum in 2004. From my original list, there is only one I am yet to meet.

My new list:

1. Randy Petersen (well, I have spoken to him)
2. number_6
3. eoinnz
4. spotwelder
5.

I'll have to think about the last one, I have met a lot of the people on my subsequent "wish list" by attending Do's.

Mine are easy:

Gaucho100K (He likes my country and my tipple, how could I not want to meet him?)
Dovster (Lechery and a sense of humor)
Stimpy (he hangs out in France, and other intersting places)
BearX220 (I am a sucker for aircraft knowledge)
JDiver (anybody that addicted to scuba must have other redeeming qualities aslo)

Nobody else seems to justify their choices but my mother always made me do that. There are so many more...
