WHOA WHOA WHOA there Chex. Lumping Husky football fans together with the rest of the Seattle sports scene is a big no-no. There is a huge difference between the rabidity of Dawg fans and the rest of Seattle's sporting landscape. Dawgs fans care about their football team through thick and thin.

I went to a game at Safeco 2 years ago wearing a Yankees hat (although the Yankees weren't there) and there was no problem.

Honestly, you can safely wear anybody's paraphernalia in Yankee Stadium, except Boston's. We have to draw the line somewhere. Neither would I wear my hat in Fenway, unless I was suitably accompanied.

Had a nice email from yummyham who is concerned about her post and how some of us have interpreted same. As most of us realize, it is difficult to convey tone and almost all that we write can be (mis)construed.

Upon review, I have made one comment describing New York Yankees clothing and referenced it one other time. Yet someone else has mentioned it four times in their posts, and I am the one who is "continually" bringing it up? I wonder what Misters Merriam and Webster would have to say about that one?

Anyways, being a fan of glass artwork by Dale Chihuly (everyone should see his stuff on display at the Seattle Art Museum while you're in town.) and glass in general, it's a shame my real estate agent friend in NYC didn't alert me to the abundance of glass apartments on sale in the metro area.

AGAIN, to end this thread, I feel that if anyone was to wear New York Yankees clothing feeling safe at Safeco shouldn't be a worry.
