Sorry, but Camair is off-topic. If you can't stay on topic, we'll have to call the moderators in, and you wouldn't want that, now, would you?

ps. how much does the job pay?

To the poster who asked if IT ever happens IT does not. I fly 10 billion miles a day and IT has never happened to me therefore it does not happen. To the 10 other posters who decribed situations where IT really did happen to them, well, as I said above IT NEVER EVER happens to me so IT never happens.

Poor girl doesn't know what she is.

This reminds me of the story about the CO departure gate at Newark. An aggressive Nu Yoiker was thumping the desk demanding his upgrade to LAX. The agent had politely told him that First Class had checked in full, and his seat 40 rows back in coach was his home for the next few hours, and the flight was about to board.

Red faced Elite screams at the gate agent.

DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM ???

And which point with theatrical timing gate agent picks up the gate microphone and calmly announces: Ladies and gentlemen, as you may have heard, this Gentleman does not know who he is. If anyone can assist him, please approach the podium.

To which the 200 passengers guffawed loudly, and Mr Elite shrunk to the size of his Platinum card.

Sorry hope this anecdote was not disrupting the flow of this intelligent thread. If so GO % * # &@%# @! )@&*(?% (I just love the Queens English.)

If I could figure out the proper place to move this thread, I'd do it.

Oh wait, I don't even have administrative functions on this board. Never mind.

Any of you folks wonder why so many of the members from 98,99,2000, who had thoughtful, sometimes provocating, often funny, almost always useful, occasionally a bit gamey, have gone away. It's trash, useful garbage, like this that has quite literally driven us away.
How often does one hear from shadow, punki, essxj, premex, rudi, baobob, and the like?

Some of you have killed or at least tainted a fun group and activity. Have fun in your mud pen; many will stay out.

I hope this post was a joke like the other 72 posts in this lovely thread.

Scott,

Did not sound like a joke....

Funny, I have never laughed so much as I have reading this thread....

Seems to me like several esteemed members have posted here... including Premex in his "I Don't Need a SWU" thread.... another classic...

No one stops people from posting (except for Randy's timeouts). They stop themselves...

I cannot see how this has tainted or killed a fun group and activity... but that is just me.

William
