SJC Dinner: Thurs 3/28

I mentioned this over on another thread, but thought I would start a fresh topic.

I'll be finishing up on some work in Mountain View on Thursday (3/8) around 7 pm and will then be heading to stay out by SJC before catching my Friday am flight.

Is anyone up for an 8 pm-ish dinner (or after dinner drinks) that night? I know that kluau88 and BingoSF were two possibles. I think I also recall seeing that Rudi may be at a Sharks game that night...

Any takers?

Should work for me unless I happen to be in STT or SJU.

Rudi is definitely at the Sharks game that night. I'll also be at that game. I may be able to swing a drink or two (not dinner though)...

These all sound great Kevin... I'll let you guys pick since you are local.

I was talking to Rudi the other night in chat and while he is at he Sharks game that night, he is staying locally and mentioned that he might be up for drinks. My thoughts are that we should pick a place that is open a bit later so we could do drinks after dinner.

Please keep me informed of when and where as I will come as long as I'm back in town.

yes - I (and Marc Rohr) will be at the Sharks - Avalange game, starting 19:30 (and beware, looking at the price of the tickets it seems that I paid for overtime too ...).

Coming from Lake Tahoe (probably doing some 'last minute' skiing on the slopes of Kirkwood that same morning) we might arrive just in time for the game but will happily meet afterwards for drings (and a late dinner if possible?).

We will stay the following night at the SFO Airport Marriott.

Looking forward to meet you.

Cheers

Rudi

The places I mentioned earlier are all within walking distance to the Shark Tank (Compaq Center), so meeting up with Rudi after the game shouldn't be a problem. Most of the places are hangouts for those going to the game.

I'm going to have to bow out if we're talking late night dinner, unfortunately. I'll be passing through SJC en route home to SFO around 7/8pm. Based on the weeks I've been having, I won't be much fun at 10pm, let alone in any shape to drive at 11p/midnight. If anyone decides on pre-game cocktails, I'll be sure to swing by

BingoSF, we'll probably do dinner around 7. The drinks with Rudi will just be an add-on for those that wanna stick around. Hope you're able to join us for dinner.

My current schedule has me finishing in Mountain View at 7 on Thursday (with any hope I will finish earlier)... I will go straight from my client to wherever we have picked for dinner.

I am also game for staying out later... I'm working west coast for the next three weeks to get myself ready for Asia in 16 days. My game plan is to roll out of bed and go directly to the airport on Friday morning as my first stop when I land in LAS will be at the Canyon Ranch for a nice long workout.

Will this be where everyone will meet for drinks after the game? I can probably make drinks but not dinner as I don't get home until the 27th.

Looking forward to have one (or more) tasty beers from the Los Gatos Brewery Co after the game

I hope that no dress code is needed ...
