Just keeping this alive by bumping it up a notch.

I think Middle_Seat hexed us as far as the weather is concerned. It's a windy, chilly 49 degrees out there now.

It's official. I'm off the "Maybe" list. I'll be there!

I'm driving down from DFW. The airfare I would have paid to get there is going to be used for another trip.

Lurker, thanks for the kind offer. That kind of character is the reason I just joined SPG today.

Another bump to keep us alive. Did I mention I would be bringing some party favors? Nothing special really, but I couldn't show up empty-handed.

Howdy Y'all!

I would like to get a count of folks who expect to attend our March 2 (Texas Independence Day) FT get-together at the Salt Lick near Austin, and whether or not you expect to bring guest(s). These are not committments to attend, just your current expectations.

Based upon postings to FlyerTalk and private email I have received, here is the list I have.:

Probable Attendees
330CiC
chemist661
Comet
GenieFlyer
Jae
kanebear
Middle_Seat (+1)
paradocs (+1)
Starwood Lurker (+1)
studley

Possible Attendees
Bluebonnet
ClassicalGal
dallasflyer
SuperSlug
techgirl
thesilb

Please let me know (by posting here or by email) of any changes, errors and omissions to this list. Thank you!

Now I have to see if I can rearrange my RTW to stop of in Texas first! Someone has to sit with Jae with an evie grin on their faces while we munch on BEVO.

Put me down as a long shot as I need to be in SFO that evening!

Gig'Em!

Mmmmm...Bevo!

Just kidding, I'm looking forward to chicken, also referred to as "Texas Pheasant" around here.

Ummm....The BEST kind, although I've only been here 9 1/2 years.

I am shaping up, you know, so chicken's good for me.

Oh, my, you're here! How's the "truck"?

studley, I'm not sure if you know this or not, but the Salt Lick only serves chicken when it's in season.

At least that what it used to say on the menu. They also used to have pig lips on there, too.
