I will be making the same run (DFW-LAX-LHR 2/22-24) under the disguise (excuse) of attending Agatha Christie's The Mousetrap at ST. Martin's Theatre on Saturday evening. I'd welcome the company if any of you are so inclined. Will be staying at the Hilton LHR but I will stop by the Metropole.

As there is a trip to the Mousetrap involved for AAnonymous, we should meet at the Metropole quite early if we all want to find food before the Mousetrap kicks off and have food quite near the theatre.

How about 5pm in the lobby of the Metropole?
If you want to know what I look like there is a pic of me at http://www.coffee.co.uk/images/cinema1.jpg

Well, since that's the first time to be thrown out, I'll try to make it back to the hotel at 5pm. I guess the easiest thing would be to meet in lobby bar, then we could stay or maybe head up to the executive lounge. Seeing a show sounds like a nice idea. Would it still be possible to obtain a ticket I wonder? Anyway, does anyone have ideas for dinner?

Looking forward to meeting you guys tomorrow evening. Have a nice and safe flight.

Gene

5PM it is then. I got I little bit of an idea, from a fellow FT'er, about where to get the tickets.

Sorry for not making it to the hotel, or even London for that matter, although I did learn a new activity....Mileage Sitting! The 777 in LAX had a problem with a switch in the brakeing system and AA, of course, wouldn't fly without fixing it . Since my primary mission was to see the play I bailed out and headed back on a redeye to Dallas when it became obvious that I would not make it in time for the final curtain. Retreat to f(l)ight another day, so to speak. I'll try again as soon as I can get rebooked. Hope you all did better.

No problems AAnonymous - the Mousetrap will run for a while! In the end it was just me and Gene - we may have missed anyone else because I didn't get to the hotel until 5:15pm courtesy of slow Tube trains.

Hope you have more luck next time!
