Do they not have an elite?
Can you not make yourself an elite?

How about that I've never asked for a comp to an elite program.

Well, I can see its going to take sonething more drastic to win than what I've admitted to earlier.

...I only got a airline voucher once and allowed it to expire.

I've never been bumped. (I've tried, but it seems the opportunities almost always come at times where I really DO have to be there on that flight.) That is my goal for 2002 - bump whenever possible!

I have, however, gotten a meal/hotel voucher once - I was 17 and flying to LBB... my parents dropped us at the airport and DL staff decided it would be easier to put the two minor girls up overnight than to wait ninety minutes for our parents to get home and then come back to pick us up.

We got a room at the Harvey DFW and used our meal vouchers to order nachos and every flavor of ice cream they had.

That was also the day I decided that I REALLY REALLY wanted to be a business traveler when I grew up.

I have never yet been in the Southern Hemisphere!

The closest I've gotten was Singapore.

Perhaps they figure if you put ketchup on steak you wouldn't appreciate wine out of a bottle

Ok...here we go <hanging head in shame>:

For the first year and a half out of college I worked for HP! <bad enough>

During that entire timeI worked for HP I NEVER non-rev'ed outside the US, even though I could have gone anywhere the world, FC, for less than 200 bucks.

I too have never been to Asia OR the Southern Hemisphere.

I, wiping tears from eyes, have NEVER been on a milage fun...OH THE INHUMANITY OF IT ALL.

Everthing but the non-rev part should change this year .

I never figured where you could get a bottle of ketchup on an airplane. The Delta Omaha steaks could certainly use some ketchup.

Air France does give you little bottles of mustard when you have beef.

I've never heard them called that before. I know it was probably a typo, but maybe we should start using that term?

If they weren't fun, at least in some sense, would we still do them?

I have never drinken alcohol on a plane -- even though I've flown in first or business class over 250 times.

I have never used the search engine on FT to find out an answer to a question. Instead, I do it the hard way by emailing and phone calling people until I find someone who knows the answer.

I actually -prefer- outside-entrance motels to internal-hallway ones.

Although I'm pretty anal about miles, hotel points are really beyond me.

My entry for The Jailer's Hall Of Shame dates back a few years when I allowed $2,000 of HP SilverLiner Passes (bump certs) to go unredeemed. This is the first time I have disclosed this indiscretion. I still have them in a secure location along with other treasured souvenirs and collectibles! I just couldn't bring myself to fly and NOT earn miles. Nor could I share them with friends either. My ethics wouldn't allow it. Friends don't let friends fly and NOT earn miles©, IMHO.

Of course, what else would one expect from someone that can truthfully say:
 • I've never drunk a cup of coffee in my life.
 • I've never smoked a cigarette in my life.
 • I've never been married (but I've had a few wives before).
