It was a great night at Safeco!
M's won #101 Bret Boone hit Homer #34 to give him the AL record for Home Runs hit by a 2nd Baseman Ichiro tied A-Rods club record hits in a season. (Which hopefully he will break tonight) He also broke the rookie record for singles in a season. Cal Ripken was there http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif And the BEST part of the game was Edgar Martinez' first inning belly flop onto home plate. It was hilarious! The Mariners better win today.
I scored tickets to Game 7 ALCS if the Mariners and the ALCS reach that point... But of much more grave concern to me is the Huskies, who got embarrassed and are now on the outside looking in for a BCS bowl. And to top it off, Wazzou looks like a better team right now.... |
