Its policy over the Easter week not to discount - We havent had an empty room in 15 years over that weekend. What I am hoping to do is just have your stay made that extra bit special. As we havent filled too many rooms yet (wont kick in till first week of Jan, historically) I want to allocate all ( and by this I mean best) the rooms on the front of the house to FT'ers. I would also hope to include something nice in your rooms to greet your arrival, but anthing else at this point remains remote. Once I know what flights people are likely to be arriving on, I will be able to look in more depth at how I/the hotel can make your journey up to Windermere a little simplar and pleasurable.

Belle - go back to the link and take out the period at the end. It should work.

Or here's the link without the period:

After finding this thread buried on the 2nd page, my partner and I would definitely be interested in meeting up and joining in at the Windermere portion of this bash.

After missing the PiP (which, I found out, stood for Party in Provence, not, as I had assumed P****d in Provence ), by only a week (we'd already booked in a trip to Nice the week after), we thought we should make the effort this time!

We're UK (Liverpool) based, and will probably be able to provide transport for 4 (or even 5 - depending on luggage) additional FT-ers from MAN airport.

What is the current score with this bash? Is it all still in the works?

We may even make one of the other continental Europe destinations, depending on other commitents...

Ken.

We really tried to make this work, but since we need to be home for Easter, which comes very early this year, we will have to pass. Going to take Hunki to SIN for his birthday, 3/22/01, instead.

Have a wonderful time and know that we will miss you all.

I am going to be updating the site over the next few days. I had a couple of major work projects on my hands for the last couple of weeks, but come back over the weekend for more details

This sounds like a wonderful idea, and marries three of my favourite passtimes -- food, drink, and travel. While I don't think I'll be able to make all of the trip, I would love to meet up with you when you're in London.

FWIW, I found that Corso (in the Hotel Bristol) in Vienna provided one of the finest meals I've ever had.
