High Flyah-
Thanks for taking the initiative.

Lets see, on Dec 10, I'll be transiting at ORD from GRB on the way back to CLE...celebrating the Packers victory over da Bears! So, what better way to party than in the lair of the Bear. So, if this shindig gets confirmed, I;ll detour and pop by.
Please keep me posted.

The 10th is still on. I'm finalizing details and will be posting a separate thread soon.

Sorry for the confusion guys. The May gathering is separate and the good response this early could mean this will be a big party! Sorry I can't join you guys on the 10th...enjoy!

I will go out on a limb here and make an assumption that I am indeed one of the several nice FTers that H.F. has met and now that I am back from SYD (having met some very nice FTers there from all over the world), I can add my 2 cents (US$, not A$). I hope that many of you can join us with this get-together. It would be a blast to meet more of you and make new friends. My thanks to H.F. for taking the initiative for this project. See you all soon!

I wish I could make it, but with UAL's prices for SFO-ORD, and the need to get back early on Tuesday, I don't think I can make it.

Huh? UA is around $202 for 12/8 to 12/11 on SFO-ORD. 'Bout as cheap as it gets. In fact I just booked a sameday return for $182 with a 15% off cert. Which will let me clear 1P by about 53 miles

Put me down as good for the 10th.

I'm not seeing any of those fares. I'm looking on orbitz to make it quick. Please list flight numbers if you get a chance. Are you doing same day return on the 10th? Best I see now is $272.

Leave SFO 12/8 on UA 152, 858, 146 or 136 (these depart 9a, 9.40a, 6.10p and 11.35p).

Leave ORD 12/11 on UA 131, 141, 147 or 155 (these depart noon, 3.10p, 4.44p and 9.25p).

$212.50 on Orbitz, $202.50 on ual.com. These are NOT Internet-only fares, so you can use certificates.

Other flights the same days are more expensive even though ual.com shows them with 9's across the board. I see no reason why you shouldn't be able to go standby on UA 809 (the 8.10a departure) Tuesday morning.

I booked 131 and 146 for 12/15. $182.82 including a trip to the very busy Michigan Avenue CTO to redeem my cert.

UA 131 (noon)
for $232.50

I believe 'Favre' is pronounced '12-3 against the Bears'!!!

OK, I'll show "Rodney"! Still hoping for details.
