Is this going to be lunch or brunch? I can probably swing a later flight for a brunch but can't leave later than about 1 or 2. My flight now is at 10:00 am, but if there is any space available, I am sure they will let me change.

Count me in as well.

Unfortunately I have to work that evening so I will not be downing a yard.

Ok, Ok...it would be a sin to go to the Yardhouse and not enjoy the ale...but only a half yard.

Punki
Thanks for visiting me at the cellar last night. Your visit made my day.

I just returned from a two week vacation in Huntington Beach, only to hear of this taking part in the very same area.

Rudi, why couldn't you plan your stay in SNA in a way I finally get to meet you and all the rest of the FTers?

Enjoy!

Just got off the phone with the Yard House in Irvine.
They open at 11:00am and reservations are not required; however, they appreciate a notice for larger groups.
I would suggest to meet there at 11:00am and everybody's free to stay as long as his/her (flight) schedule permits.

I've been wanting to check out the O.C. Yardhouse, and what better excuse than a Rudi-FTfest. Earlier is better for me as well as I have Hollywood Bowl tix. Barry

I'm going to add myself to the very-definitely-certainly-positively maybe list. I will be coming from a church gathering that morning so I will definitely be late. I'll also see what I can do about bringing the Mrs.

Whether I would be there will depend on whether or not I have to work that day, which I can't say until a few days before. Put me up for a certainly-maybe.

Hold the phone! I meant the Costa Mesa Yardhouse. It's much closer to SNA than the Irvine Yardhouse.

So let's meet at the Costa Mesa Yardhouse at 11am, OK?

Costa Mesa is fine with me, too...
So I would say unless someone publicly disagrees here on the board, it's 11:00am at the Costa Mesa Yard House.
I am already forward to the lunch

I'll be there.

Transportation question: shall I rent a car or take a taxi (how far away is this place from SNA?) or is anybody able to pick me up at the Irvine Marriott (tf 949-726-3608, Rudi Martel) and (somebody else?) can bring me to SNA afterwards? I will leave SNA on Sunday, sep-2 at 16:55 (UA 5311 to LAX and further on).

Rudi, it shouldn't be a problem for me to pick you up. I will have a rental car.
E-Mail sent.

How about meeting in 'true' FlyerTalk spirit (all/most of us) at 10:15AM at the SNA Red Carpet Club (I guess we have enough membership cards to let everyone in as guests) and then arrange driving to the lunch place together?

address SNA UA RCC club:
Orange County, CA,
Elevator across from Gate 7. Tf 1-949-252-5736

So she will be a Mrs by then? Is this church gathering what I think it is?
