So far so good, and I like the many and varied categories.

I agree about the white background. Something a bit softer would be nice.

I do like the new look otherwise. Will take some time to learn the new navigation shortcuts.

I read the new boards would have spell check. I don't see it. That will be my favorite addition if it is here.

I like the new format and agree that the white is too bright.

I'll be person number six 6 to vote for a different colored background. The bright white makes my eyes ache after a few minutes of reading. With the old color I could go for hours without a prob...

I like it, but my "back" button doesn't work much of the time. That means that I need to go back to the main forum and navigate back down? Quite bothersome.

There are soft whites or light blues for backgrounds. But I can't complain. I have nonglare glasses.

More distraction from work ;-)
Wasn't there a site that focused on dining, started by folks who hung around here too ?

I wonder if I'm missing something? In the old days I could simply browse for all new posts, across all subject areas, to see what was new for today.

I can't find the functionality now. It seems I must instead enter each individual subject, and then read each topic to see what is new. Am I merely dense?

Also, especially relevant now because of the changes to FT, could I ask that site feedback/bug reporting go to the Technical Issues forum?

http://www.flyertalk.com/forumcgi/forumdisplay.cgi?action=topics&forum=Techni cal+Issues&number=72

It'll make it a lot easier for us to keep track of problems and suggestions...

Thanks again.

Thank YOU, Dan, for all your technical input and pointing us to the more efficient fora for such suggestions.

Site changes are great, I agree that the white background is too hard.

The new expanded format is good overall, but the site is not as easy to navigate as before.
When I choose the number of days to view topics, it has defaulted the next time I go to that site.
My user name does not always appear automatically for a post. Is this just a glitch?
Another color background would be easier to read.

Thanks!!!!
